1. Scope

These terms govern the use of the RIMEDRE GO application and related web services operated by RIMEDRE. By using the app you accept these terms.

2. The service

RIMEDRE GO offers offline map downloads, route calculation, community reports and account management. Parts of the service are free; parts may become paid in future.

Navigation suggestions are informational and not binding. Complying with traffic rules and driving safely remains solely the driver's responsibility.

3. Account and sign-in

Sign-in uses a one-time code sent to your e-mail address; there is no password. Keeping that code private is the user's responsibility. Tell us immediately if you suspect misuse of your account.

4. User obligations

Do not use the service for unlawful purposes.
Do not submit false, misleading or dangerous community reports.
Do not automate access, reverse-engineer the service or circumvent quotas.
Do not upload content that infringes third-party rights.

5. Community content

The accuracy of user-submitted reports is not guaranteed. We may remove content that breaches these terms and suspend accounts after repeated violations.

6. Intellectual property

The RIMEDRE and RIMEDRE GO trademarks, official logos, RIMEDRE UI 2.0 (Hydro Crystal Design) interface components, source code and 3D visualisation assets are legally protected; unauthorised copying, distribution and reverse engineering are prosecuted. Map data belongs to OpenStreetMap contributors and is licensed under ODbL.

7. Limitation of liability

We are not liable for damages absent intent or gross negligence. Liability for injury to life, body or health, and mandatory consumer rights, remain unaffected.

8. Right of withdrawal

Where paid digital content is purchased, the statutory right of withdrawal for consumers applies; it may lapse to the extent permitted by law if performance begins immediately with your express consent.

9. Changes and termination

Material changes to these terms are announced in the app. Users may close their account at any time.

10. Voice assistant

The AI voice assistant needs limited microphone access and a live internet connection. Voice commands are processed solely to make in-app navigation easier.

11. Offline maps and device storage

Downloaded PMTiles and Valhalla map data is stored on the device and usable without an internet connection. Keeping enough free space on the device is the user's responsibility.

12. Reward points and badges

Reward points and driving badges earned with a RIMEDRE ID are personal and non-transferable. We reserve the right to suspend accounts on abuse or detected GPS spoofing.

13. Speed and radar alerts

Fixed and mobile radar warnings are compiled from community reports and publicly available sources. Complying with speed limits is the driver's personal responsibility; RIMEDRE is not liable for fines.

14. Governing law

Austrian law applies. Mandatory consumer protection provisions of the user's country of residence remain unaffected. Place of jurisdiction: Wien, Österreich.
